What it involves
The coating is applied to clean, degreased and usually pre-polished paint. It forms a hard, slick layer that water and dirt slide off more easily. We can also protect wheels, trim, mirrors and glass – on glass it gives an “invisible wiper” effect.
How long it takes
Usually 1–3 days including paint preparation. The coating also needs time to cure – we'll tell you when the car can be washed.

Owners who want a car that's easier to keep clean, new cars, and cars after paint correction when you want to keep the result.
Aftercare
No chemical washing for the first week. After that, hand-wash with a pH-neutral shampoo and avoid brush car washes. Top up the coating with a maintenance product from time to time.
Frequently asked questions
Does the paint need polishing first?
Usually yes – the coating locks in the paint's condition, so scratches are best removed first.
Does ceramic protect against scratches?
It reduces the risk of fine swirls, but it doesn't replace protective film or protect against stone chips.
Can I use an automatic car wash?
We advise against brush car washes. Hand washing is best.
